Drone Strikes Leave Three Dead in Russia's Belgorod Region
Belgorod Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov confirmed the casualties, detailing a series of strikes that tore through rural communities across the border region. In the village of Voznesenovka, a drone hit a car, killing the male driver. In Bobrava, a strike on a family vehicle claimed the lives of both a man and a woman, leaving their teenage son hospitalized with injuries. A third attack in the hamlet of Krasivo wounded a husband and wife traveling together, both of whom were transferred to a regional hospital for treatment.
Simultaneously, a drone strike on an oil refinery in the port city of Tuapse, in the Krasnodar region, triggered a large-scale blaze, prompting local authorities to evacuate residents from surrounding areas. The full extent of the damage to the facility had not been officially assessed at the time of reporting.
The attacks mark the latest in a sustained pattern of drone strikes on Russian territory, with Belgorod — which borders Ukraine — remaining one of the most frequently targeted regions since the onset of the conflict.
